  Pure golden beeswax, poured by hand in small batches and left to cure for weeks so it burns evenly to the end. Unscented: lit, it smells only faintly of honeycomb.

  Boxed in oat paper and tied by hand, ready to give.

  Scent. Unscented. Lit, it smells faintly of honey: a quieter choice for homes with pets or small children.

  Ingredients. 100% European beeswax, filtered from the honeycomb, and a cotton wick. No paraffin, soy or blends, no dyes and no synthetic fragrance.

• Burn and care +

  About 225 hours in total. Beeswax is dense and melts at a high temperature, so it burns slowly and brightly, with almost no soot.

  Trim the wick to 6 mm before each lighting and keep the flame out of draughts. On the first lighting, let the whole surface melt before you put it out, so it burns evenly. Stand pillars on a heat-proof plate. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
